The staff was very friendly. There was a good choice at breakfast. The entrance area was beautifully furnished.
There was a slight smell of smoke in the room, the bathroom was rather narrow.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Guests receive a free public transport card for the duration of their stay. The hotel is perfectly located between the railway station and the old town. In the hotel there was free tea and coffee at any time. The hotel is furnished with a lot of love!
The rooms are simply furnished and the bathroom is very small. For a few overnight stays, however, the rooms fulfil their purpose.

Good value for money for the month of August.
The bathroom consisted of a small plastic cabin. Neighbors were still running around in the corridor at midnight. Get better doors, there'll be no light or noise from the corridor!

The location is central and everything is within walking distance. It is a cheap hotel by Geneva standards.
The breakfast room is directly at the reception and very small. Apart from that, we missed breakfast twice because it was only offered between 8 and 10 am.

A nice atmosphere, we feel almost welcomed as a family, even after not having been there for several years, since a previous stay... Proximity to Cornavin station and tram and bus lines. . Charm of a welcoming old hotel, which will not be found anywhere else (except in the neighbouring Hotel des Tourelles, which has a slightly different but also friendly atmosphere). Yes, you can find a cheaper room in "modern" hotel chains today, and if you have to do that next time, it will be with great regret. But if it is possible, the extra few francs are well invested...
Nothing, everything was fine.

Loved the cozy vibe! Staff were very good, especially when our plans changed. Room was comfy, but the traffic noise was a bit annoying.

This hotel was simply perfect for a first time traveler to Geneva. It was in a wonderful location, within walking distance of the train station, Old Town Geneva, tour boats, great shopping and sidewalk cafes, as well as dining from inexpensive crepes and panninis on the street to very high quality restaurants. The staff is truly warm, all speak English and don't mind doing so, the breakfast is included and is quite full with high quality food served in a nice setting. The rooms were spotless, and the service and hospitality far exceeded our expectations. The photos do not do it justice. The woman who runs the hotel is a treasure.
Only minor problem one night was a club across the street that got a bit noisy around 11pm when the patrons came out to smoke. They were just talking, nothing loud, no music, so we just shut the very well insulated window and all was totally quiet in the room. The next couple of nights the window was open and we heard nothing, so this might have been a special event, wedding or the like. This was a very, very minor issue.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the main train station and close to several attractions. The room was comfortable and well-kept, and we especially appreciated the free tea and coffee available in the lobby. The staff were really helpful with local tips. It was a pleasant experience that allowed us to explore the beautiful city effortlessly.
